On September 17, 2007, the musicians of the Utah Symphony ratified a three-year agreement that began on September 1, 2007 and continues through August 31, 2010.

SENIORITY: Each level increases by $5.

INSTRUMENT INSURANCE: Full coverage was increased from $50,000 to $100,000 and 50% coverage in excess of $200,000 was increased to $300,000.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- One extra relief week will be scheduled for the full orchestra at the end of March in lieu of relief weeks scheduled individually. Each musician will also have 6 personal services at their disposal per year, as well as 8 “on-call” relief services.
- The orchestra complement will return from 82 to 85 musicians after 2009 when the new Music Director begins their tenure.
