Utah Amends Final Year of 3-Year Agreement

On September 11, 2008, the musicians of the Utah Symphony ratified an amendment to the third and final year of their three-year agreement that ends on August 31, 2010. As stipulated in the original agreement, the modification dealt solely with base salary. What was originally a 2% increase ($63,076/$1,213) has now been amended to become a 5% increase.
